My main impression is these rules function much like the DBA which just had never appealed to my style of game play. There is the Osprey series Age of Glory and their supplements that some here on TMP are fond of. There is a new rule set called Conquest and Empire that looks very promising and from my understanding has game mechanics similar to the two game systems above. Warhammer Historicals unfortunately closed up shop last year and therefore trying to get the rule books might only be an ebay option. Hail Caesar is another option and is currently well supported. As far as war game rules there is a lot of choice and much will depend on the style of game play you are looking for. GlacierMI I think we all understood they were the Perry plastics and they are excellent figures.
